Lumeniki is a wiki that is presently used more like a blog by Lumenos. It is however, open to editing by anyone. For a list of some of the pages that have input from users other than Lumenos see category:input by others.

Research topics currently covered by Lumeniki, include the following:

Contents

Philosophy

Home economics

Food

Real estate

Lumenos has learned a thing or two when selling a house. The Internet could make realtors and brokers obsolete. Many people have figured this out, it is just a matter of time before everyone knows.

Computer tutorials and reviews

Mp3 players

Lumenos is not sure whether it is in the interest of the world to be advertising things that may be contributing to lower quality of life for workers (or pollution ie batteries). But ey has already made this review of the cheapest mp3 players in the world.

Steam power

Small-scale solar electricity

Lumenos has been in correspondence with an engineer by the name of Andy, who is who is testing parts of a new system for generating electricity from sunlight. Andy claimed this would be quite less expensive than using the popular photovoltaic solar panels for small-scale (backyard) applications, but it is far from being a working system. His site is http://slamvalvemotor.com/ . Lumenos' interview of Andy can be found in the article "Small-scale solar steam power".

Steam engine vs combustion engine

At one time Andy claimed that a induction generator running off a slam valve motor would definitely be more efficient than a gasoline generator. He seems to believe this is true also for plug hybrids suggesting that these could be more efficient if using a slam valve motor rather than a combustion engine.

Other interests

Other interests may eventually be included such as: psychology, health, economics, and politics.

This wiki is not up to date

Lumenos has much more information and more accurate info, than will be found in this wiki. There is not much point keeping this all up to date if no one else is reading it. (It gives Lumenos a place to store notes, accessible anywhere ey has Internet access, but this is not always as efficient as note outlines written to emself.) If anyone else reads this site you may make a request if you want more/clearer information on any topic. You can do so by clicking "edit", in which case your IP address will appear publicly on the history tab. If you create a login name, this name will appear instead. (You just need to type in a username and password to create one.) With an email address you can receive messages or alerts if/when I post a reply, by checking the box "Watch this page".
